Singer Esther Akoth famously known as Akothee has been admitted in the hospital.
Akothee on Thursday posted her photo while lying in a hospital bed. She could not, however, reveal the name of the hospital and the type of ailment she was suffering from.
The singer had started off her day with good news where she shared the gifts she had received from the Farmers Choice Kenya.
According to her morning post on Instagram, she had been on Wednesday rewarded by the company for emerging at the top for recently concluded 2019 AFRIMMA Awards, where she was announced the winner of best Female Artist from East Africa region, beating the likes of Tanzanian's Nandy and Vanessa Mdee, Victoria Kimani, Fena Gitu among others.
Akothee had then used the opportunity to ask the company to support her Akothee Foundation in ensuring the Turkana residents live a better life.
