A family in Njoro, Nakuru County, is devastated over the disappearance of their daughter.
Susan Njoki, a former student at Multimedia University, has been missing since December, 30, 2018, a family source said.
Njoki, 24, who friends have described as cute and bubbly, was last seen in Nairobi’s CBD at around 11pm.
She is said to have reported to her work-place during the day.
“Her workmate, whom we have spoken to, told us that the last conversation she had with Njoki, was when Njoki inquired if she had found a matatu home,” Suleiman Ngige, her brother, said.
The family said they got concerns when her phone could not go through and have been on a search mission.
Njoki had visited her village in Njoro during the Christmas but travelled back to the city telling the family that she was to report back to work on December 30.
“We have been trying to call or text her through her cell phone line to no avail. Our messages have never been delivered [since December 30],” the brother said.
The family is also asking Njoki’s friends who might be knowing an ‘Arab guy’ she had reportedly met about two months ago, and who she was ‘seeing’, to come out and help the family reach the guy.
The family says the ‘Arab guy’ might help them unravel the puzzle of her disappearance.“We are completely devastated. My parents are badly affected,” another family source said.
