Kalonzo should consider the idea of re-branding his Wiper Democratic Movement party which is now like a house of cards, in order to attract new members from different parts of the region as well as the country at large as he seeks to become the next Kenyan President.

The party is losing grounds in the region, there will be massive walkouts ahead of 2022 elections if the current political developments are anything we can go by.

Kalonzo is weaker than he was before since he no longer has any loyal governor.

Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana, who was among the Wiper's strongest pillars is now throwing tantrums at Kalonzo.

It is evident that the ex-VP is a troubled man due to Kibwana's decision alongside his counterpart governors Alfred Mutua (Machakos) and Charity Ngilu (Kitui) to rebel against him.

The trio now wants Kalonzo to be replaced by a younger, energetic and visionary leader who can lead the community to power when that time comes.

They have been accusing Kalonzo of using Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) to frustrate them.

Mutua, Kibwana, and Ngilu claim that it is evident Kalonzo doesn’t mean well for his people.

The utterances have caused a political storm in the region.
