Speaking during this year’s International Women Day held at Shabab Social Hall grounds in Nakuru West, the legislator called on the youths to ensure they make good use of the funds to uplift their living standards through businesses.

“I know there are many youths who are not employed despite having gone through learning insitituions. My appeal to you is that make good use of the funds that the government has set aside for youths,” said Chelule.

The Nakuru Woman Rep said since she took over office, close to 90 million shillings have been disbursed to various youth, PWDs and women groups across Nakuru County.

“We have disbursed up to Sh90 million and we are currently working on water tanks project in our schools as well as trees and fruits planting,” she said.
