Speaking in Bomet, Isaac Ruto said that CCM would embark on an aggressive campaign of popularising its policies across the country.

"Chama Cha Mashinani sasa imeanza mwendo mpaka mwisho wa nchi yetu ya Kenya. We will popularise the party, its policies and we will do it in peace and we will support the unity of Kenya. Mambo ya ukabila tuwachane nayo. And the most important thing tunataka revenue ifikie mwananchi wa Kenya... The country is heading in the wrong direction and we have to put a stop to that, " Isaac Rutto said.

Bemoaning economic decline and endemic corruption, Ruto fired shots at national leaders for forgetting the people of Kenya and engaging in unnecessary fights.

He appeared to criticise the manner in which the governing Jubilee party was managing the country.

The former governor also fired shots at sycophantic leaders, saying that sycophancy was undermining democracy in the country.

He said that he had been approached by many leaders who had expressed interest in joining the CCM party ahead of the 2022 general elections.
