Meanwhile, Uganda Cranes remains the top listed East African team, rising four places up to position 79th, while Tanzania's Taifa Stars also improved, climbing up four places to 136 in the world. Burundi moved six places up to number 142, while Ethiopia has dropped to position 150.
Tunisia's Carthage Eagle is the best-ranked team in the continent, as they moved up a spot to 22nd, Senegal remains second on 25th position in the world as Nigeria's Super Eagles replace DR Congo in position 44th, DR Congo slumped six places to be ranked 46th.
Across the continent, Belgium occupies position one in the world, replacing World champions France who slightly dropped to second. Brazil, Belgium, and England close top five ranked nations in the world respectively.
