The David Pkosing led committee had summoned the two parties after it emerged that President Uhuru Kenyatta's family could be plotting to take over the airport through KQ.

In a video circulating on social media, Ms Koimett and Mr Mikosz are seen parking their documents and leaving chambers after a section of MPs led by Vice Chairman Moses Kuria and Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose accused the duo of providing unverified documents.

"What business will we doing here if you don't have the proposal? We can't talk about what we haven't seen," said committee chair David Pkosing.

"The CS is at the centre of this so we cannot proceed without him. He has to be here," said Shadrack Mose of Kitutu Masaba.

The furious MPs gave Ms Koimett and Mr Mikosz one hour to return with the Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia, adding that he was the best placed to answer their concerns.

Members of parliament were to be provided with the Privately Initiated Investment Proposal (PIIP) on the plan but Ms Koimet said she did not have it.
