In a tweet, the DCI confirmed that the three suspects, who include a Tanzanian are in police custody.

"THREE suspects-Titus Fedha, Haji Shariff & Suleiman Mzava-who obtained Ksh.2M by False Pretences from a Couple at Westlands with the promise that they were in a position to remove WITCHCRAFT from the property they intended to sell, have been arrested by Detectives from Parklands," said DCI Kenya.

The three had promised Mr & Mrs. Harbanas Sign Sanata to deal with evil spirits in their property.

Accompanied by two others, who are still at large they visited the compound located in Westlands with a briefcase containing their tools of trade.

Some of the witchcraft paraphanelia included a snake.

Before starting their job, they convinced the unsuspecting couple to give them Sh2 million. They explained that the money would be used to buy some other things, including a special type of oil needed for their ritual.

However, upon receiving the money, the five disappeared.

The victims then reported the matter to the police.

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) started their investigation. They recovered the briefcase which was carrying the witchcraft paraphernalia at Shariff's house, one of the suspects.
