Diamond Platnumz on Friday hinted at releasing a new song, but could not reveal much about the project.
Diamond said he was 'smelling' a new hit but could not reveal everything. However, his sister Esma Platnumz has given a hint that the song might feature an international female artist from Nigeria.
Diamond who does not need any kind of introduction in Kenya is best known for releasing back-to-back hits, and early this year, he said he will be releasing songs after every two weeks after fully investing and developing the media projects that hed kept him busy.
His magic has proved to work because, in less than three months, he has released at least three highly-rated songs.
He started with a solo project 'The one', a love song, before he featured Fally Ipupa in 'Inama'.
His latest anthem which is one of the biggest hits in the country is 'Kanyaga', also a solo project. The song is currently enjoying huge airplay in most Kenyan media houses.
"Stop us from not accepting you (Diamond) to remove someone but I personally want that song with the other lady. (uwiiiiiiih tukomeshe sisi tukatae usitoe wakina nani ila mi naitaka ile na yule dada), Esma Platnumz replied to Diamond's hint of a new song.
Sources have that Diamond collaborated with a Nigerian female artist, Teni in June. They even shot a video in the UK before Teni danced along to Diamond's Inama song in a video captioned "You don't know what is coming"
From what Esma has hinted at, Diamond's next project will not be a solo project. It might also mean he was planning to delete some verses from other artists.
It won't be the first time for him to delete other artists' verses to turn the project into a solo song. 'The one' was supposed to be collabo with a Namibian artist King TeeDee before Diamond deleted his verses.
