Catfights are common within many residential places.
Some women are known to get into fights over petty issues.
Here are some of the silly things that lead to catfights
1. Men
Women fighting over men is not a new phenomenon, especially in low-end estates where a man who earns Sh300 a day is a bone of contention to many women eyeing his affection.
And when they meet or learn about each other, it turns into a fight which the man either never gets to learn of, or sits at a safe distance to watch and feel proud about how handsome and lovable he is.
2. Clothesline
Women are known for their love for cleanliness, with the cleanliness of clothes in Kenya known to end on the cloth line where the washed clothes are lined up to dry.
And unlike in the now increasing apartments where every household has its own set of lines, our sisters who still live in ‘plots’ continue to share one.
This leads to fights on Sundays and Saturdays as many are at home washing their clothes.
3. Water tap
In some of Nakuru’s estates, water comes on certain days of the week, and since men are not known to be good at such responsibilities, women are deployed to the taps.
It gets chaotic when others apply tricks to go first, at times ending into physical fights as each person tries to have their way.
