Alai posted a video showing the two conversing via WhatsApp call on his verified Facebook account.

The popular blogger also accused Passaris of extorting money from ‘Sonko’ using Raila Odinga’s name.

“When Nairobi Women Rep Esther Passaris extorts money from Governor Mike Sonko using Railas name, it’s not corruption but when Sonko shares the same money with wanainchi it becomes corruption (sic),” Alai captioned the video.

In the 7-minute video, the two politicians discussed the drama that had transpired during Madaraka Day celebrations where Passaris walked out on Governor Sonko while he was making his speech.

The governor admitted in the conversation that he was angered by the remarks that were being made against President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“I feel bad when you people insult my boss, every now and then you mention his name. Please stop that behaviour. Let’s respect the president, you can campaign but don’t mention his name in those rallies,” Sonko said at some point in the conversation.

The conversation ends with Sonko sending Passaris money with a promise of sending more later on.
