The United States of America now says it is prepared to attack Iran should it retaliate.
This comes in a wake of Iran threats to attack 35 America targets including its ships.
With Iran swearing to avenge the killing of its General Qasem Soleimani, US is not taking Tehran threats lightly.
BBC reports that the US has identified 52 Iran sites to attack incase it dares to make good its threats.
Trump wrote on his Twitter that, "Iran is talking boldly to about targeting certain US assets," in an affront against General Qasem murder.
He said that the US won't condone any threats and noted that they had identified Iranian sites, that are equally more important to Iranian culture.
"At a very high level, important to Iran and the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD" if Tehran targets the US," President Donald Trump said in a tweet.
Trump's retaliatory remarks come hot on the heels after Iran had earlier threatened to hit 35 American targets in the region including US ships according to the Daily Mail.
It's is believed that the 52 targets symbolize the 52 Americans that were held hostage following their seizure at the US embassy in Tehran, in 1979 as reported by CNN.
