In a tweet on Wednesday, Alai said that if Uhuru was serious about the war against the loss of public resources, Former KQ Boss Titus Naikuni would be behind bars.

He noted that Naikuni is among the Kenyans who have looted resources meant for the public, adding that he should be investigated with immediate effect for the sake of recovering billions of lost funds.

“If Uhuru was serious about fighting corruption, Titus Naikuni should be in JAIL. He can’t be because Uhuru is part of the cartel which brought Dow KQ. Uhuru is the single largest supplier of auxiliary powering unit to airlines in the region. Sad fact!” he said.

Uhuru, who spoke at the Kipevu Oil Terminal, Port of Mombasa during the flagging off ceremony of the first Kenyan crude oil shipment, insisted that he is committed to end graft as long as he remains in power.

“I have not sent anyone. You are the one who was found doing your things. These people are not playing and laughing. The phones you used to call for assistance have been switched off, he said.
