Former Lagdera MP Farah Maalim has joined other leaders and Kenyans in condemning the Riverside terror attack in Nairobi.
Maalim took to his Twitter account to condemn the Tuesday terror attack.
“Our prayers are with our countrymen/women and guests trapped in the Dusit Complex. We support our Galant security men and women engaged in eliminating the threat,” Maalim said on his twitter account.
The former National Assembly Deputy Speaker added, “We shall defeat these cowards. We shall follow them to their hideouts and smoke them out,” Maalim said on his Twitter account.
Suspected terrorists stormed 14 Riverside on Tuesday afternoon and started shooting randomly.
The rescue operation has come to an end, according to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In his address to Kenyans from State House on Wednesday, President Kenyatta said that 14 people lost their lives in the attack and others injured.
The president commended the quick response by security agencies to the attack, noting that over 700 civilians were evacuated from the attack scene.
