Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo has advised Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko to hit the gym soon, instead of posting videos showing him dancing to various tunes.
Odhiambo said he had noticed Sonko’s apparent growing potbelly, asking him to go to the gym.
“I can actually say that he is not a good dancer. Let us start from there. And then I can also say that for a young person, what is he doing with that kind of a pot (potbelly)? Go to the gym instead of dancing. First I think he just needs to go to the gym. As an older sister, I will advise him to go to the gym, you have no business having that big pot as a young person,” the vocal MP said during an interview on K24 TV, Sunday.
In August, the two traded barbs after Governor Sonko publicly declared that former Kibra MP the late Ken Okoth sired a child with Nairobi nominated Member of the County Assembly (MCA) Ann Thumbi.
The MP was irritated with Sonko’s move, stating that his public declaration was designed to embarrass Ken Okoth’s widow, Monica.
“Just because he did the through pass, a former team of his, rug tag outfit, (Rescue whatever) nominated her to the Assembly. That does not give him any right to embarrass Monica without much thought on national TV and audience,” Odhiambo was then quoted by K24.
“If speaking the truth is what you call Bonga points, let it be. This habit of leaders [MPs, governors and senators] having extramarital affairs and children outside wedlock and then disowning them must come to end,” Sonko responded.
