Bomachoge Borabu MP Zadoc Ogutu has mourned the death of three people who died on Tuesday following a horrific accident at Nyamasogota area in Kisii County.
The lawmaker assured that he will stand with the family of the deceased during this trying moments.
"We started a year bad following the loss of the lives of the three people who died after two motorbiked collided head-on. I feel the same pain the family of the deceased persons are feeling. I will ensure the deceased are given a decent sendoff," he said.
The MP urged motorists to be more cautious when using the various roads in Kisii County to curb accidents.
"Motorists should drive carefully. Boda boda riders riding under the influence of alcohol must stop because they are endangering their lives," he said.
He assured that he will work around the clock to ensure speed bumps are erected on various roads in the area.
"I will ensure traffic calming devices should be erected on our roads to slow motorists speeding," he added.
The lawmaker wished his constituents a good year, 2019 saying he will engage them to give development priorities.
