Residents of Gekano in Nyamira County were left in a rude shock after a 20-year-old bodaboda rider was caught pants down with a class 7 girl on Wednesday evening.
Witnesses said the rider, Lukas Moenga, lured the girl identified as Esther Nyabonyi into his house after dishing out Sh100 to her.
"I spotted Moenga entering the house with Nyabonyi who just returned from Kericho where she has been schooling. I immediately alerted Nyabonyi's mother who mobilized neighbors and we stormed the house," said Andrew Morikwa.
Mr. Morikwa said on reaching in the house, Moenga was half naked while Nyabonyi was completely naked.
Nyabonyi's mother Jerusha Moraa said neighbors helped her to beat the rider before he escaped into a nearby tea farm.
"I wanted the rider to be killed because he want to ruin my daughter's life. He is luck he escaped but, I will do everything possibl to ensure he is apprehended," she vowed.
Area assistant chief Samson Okioma said the rider is at large.
"The suspect managed to escape after a thorough beating. We are tracing him to Ikonge," he noted.
Okioma said Sh100 the rider gave Nyabonyi was recovered.
"The girl revealed to us that she was lured into sex with Sh100," he added.
