Deputy President William Ruto has been urged to stop giving conditions for supporting referendum.
Kisii County MP Janet Ong'era on Sunday while speaking in Kisii town, said Ruto should support the referendum fully.
"Ruto should stop giving conditions for him to support the referendum being pushed by NASA leader Raila Odinga. Let him come out clear and ensure he supports the referendum for necessary changes to be made to drop the huge wage bill," she said.
The lawmaker insisted that the referendum is unstoppable since several Kenyans are ready to take part.
She said inclusiveness in government will curb unnecessary fights among Kenyans.
"DP Ruto must accept creation of Prime Minister and 2 deputy prime minister posts," she stated.
Mrs. Ong'era urged Gusii leaders to back the former Prime Minister in pushing for the referendum saying it will good for not only the Gusii community but also Kenyans.
She challenged politicians to shun divisive politics because Kenyans along political lines.
