Addressing the press after inspecting road projects in Lari and Limuru sub-counties, Kabogo demanded that Muthama and other leaders from the Raila Odinga-led side stop hauling insults at the Head of State.

Kabogo said President Kenyatta was legitimately elected by Kenyans hence deserves to be respected by everyone including Muthama.

“What is wrong with Muthama? It should stick in his head that the President deserves respect from everyone, including himself,” Kabogo said.

He questioned why the leaders were ever complaining over different things.

Kabogo told them to back the Jubilee government for the sake of development instead of insulting the president.

Muthama was among the most vocal leaders from the opposition who were launching endless attacks against President Kenyatta and DP Ruto.

The Ukambani politician maintained that the two leaders were doing little to improve Kenyans' living standards.
