National Resistance Movement (NRM) Kenya leader Dr Miguna Miguna has responded to President Uhuru Kenyatta's appointment of the late Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission ICT head Dr Chris Msando's wife, Eva Msando Buyu, to the board of the Export Processing Zones Authority.
Miguna who is still fighting for his return to the country following his deportation on March 29th criticized Uhuru over the appointment claiming it may be meant to frustrate attempts to investigate the killing of Msando.
"Uhuru Kenyatta is a certified despot," said Miguna.
"He had Chris Msando abducted, tortured and then strangled to death and his thumb chopped off in order to steal the August 8, 2017 election. Now, he has added insult to injury to Mrs Msando. We need justice for Msando."
Msando's wife is among people who landed jobs in various parastatals in Uhuru's new appointments made on Friday. She was appointed together with former Mbooni MP Kusoi Munyao to head the Export Processing Zones Authority board.
Msando was brutally murdered ahead of the August 8th, 2017 general election and at the time of his killing he had reported that the IEBC results transmission system was tamper proof making it hard for the rigging of the poll.
His death was linked to the election.
