Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i has once again dismissed claims that Deputy President William Ruto's name won't be in the ballot in 2022 presidential polls.
Tong'i while speaking on Thursday when he joined the family, relatives and friends during the burial of the late Jeremiah Okiamba Mogire Headteacher of Intundero Primary school in his constituency reiterated that DP Ruto's presidential ambition has cause panic to rivals.
He said DP Ruto's name will not miss in the ballot arguing that Ruto's opponents have sensed a humiliating defeat in 2022.
"There is no way DP Ruto's name will miss in the ballot come 2022. Those thinking that they can use the backdoor to derail Mr Ruto's ambition to become President should mind their own business because DP Ruto has all it takes to take over from his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022," he said.
The Jubilee allied lawmaker noted that continued use of propaganda against DP Ruto will not change anything.
He said DP Ruto has built a massive following across the country.
"Ruto enjoys support in this country hence he will easily win the presidency in 2022," he added.
