On Mar 19, 2017, comedian Daniel Ndambuki commonly known as Churchill was left in deep shock after word spread that he was dead.
According to the comedian, he was enjoying his lunch only to hear he was no more.
Ndambuki, however, said the news did not worry him because he had heard about the same in the past.
The Kamba artist said he took the devastating news calmly as friends and workmates called to find out what was happening.
He said his experience in the comedy sector made it easy for him to handle the information.
“Being a comedian, there are things you can brush off but when I started getting those important phone calls from relatives…,” Ndambuki said.
Ndambuki is one of the most celebrated comedians in the country.
He has been in the comedy industry for several decades.
The comedian has made a name for himself through his live show on NTV.
He is among the few people you won’t stop laughing when you meet.
Ndambuki is respected for mentoring a number of comedians from the Ukambani region including Chipukeezy and Mwende.
His talent has seen him shake hands with various powerful leaders including President Uhuru Kenyatta.
