The meeting, according to the lawmaker, was aimed at deliberating on the betterment of his constituents lives back in Rarieda, Siaya county.

He met Elizabeth Aduda and William Ogutu at the parliament lounge over a project seeking to give Rarieda residents more access to water through the digging of boreholes.

Amollo said that they agreed to begin with three boreholes at the sites of upcoming tertiary institutions.

"Was happy to meet Messrs Elizabeth Aduda and William Oguttu of the Human Needs Project at parliament lounge, to discuss possibilities of sinking various boreholes in Rarieda. Glad they agreed to start by sinking 3 boreholes at the sites Of the Tertiary Institutions We’re Developing," he wrote.

The meeting came barely two days after the opposition lawmaker held similar deliberations with Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia at his offices in Nairobi.

In the meeting, they discussed a number of infrastructural projects in Nyanza, among them the revival of the currently limping ferry transport services in Lake Victoria.

They also discussed Amollo's Ondoa Nyasi programme which aims at establishing better housing for the less fortunate.
