However, there are some mistakes that wouldn't be condoned in the workplace. 

Here are some of the mistakes that could make you lose your job;

1. Being incompetent

Incompetence means your area of work records no progress contrary to your company's expectations. Every employer needs you to bring some development to the company.

When your area of jurisdiction at the company fails or records no growth, then your boss could consider finding a replacement for you who would work competently.

2. Disrespecting your superiors and office rules

Disrespecting any person above you in the company could make you lose your job should they report you to the boss. It is always advisable to respect everybody at your place of work.

Office rules should also be respected like getting to the office in time and doing what keeps you there and nothing else that goes against the company rules. 

3. Wrongly treating the company clients

Clients are the reason why the company exists and so what would happen if they ditch the company because of how bad you treat them? The company would fall. 

Therefore, your boss would rather get rid of you when they receive reports of your ill behaviour than see the company fall.
