A student aged 23, from Kitale National Polytechnic committed suicide on Monday in Trans-Nzoia County.
The mother of one reportedly used a rope whereby she hanged herself in her husband's house.
Brenda Kadenge's body was discovered by a neighbor who went to check after an alarm was raised by the wailing of the late's baby.
"The door was open and the baby was crying endlessly. I went to check what was wrong and found the body hanging," the neighbor told Standard on anonymity basis.
The cause of the woman's decision to take away her life was not immediately known, while her husband was reportedly not around when the tragedy struck.
Local administrator Ms Janet Wekesa speculated that the deceased could have had differed with her family, what led to her committing suicide.
"The deceased did not leave behind a suicide note but we suspect she decided to end her life because of domestic feuds," said Ms Wekesa.
Wekesa called upon the young couples to always consult from elder couples as well as her office instead of resolving to suicide.
"Committing suicide is not a solution to family problem. I advise newly married couples to consult elderly couples and a counselor to solve any emerging issues in the family," she noted.
The body was taken by the police and investigations have commenced.
