Tanzanian Baraza la Sanaa la Taifa (BASATA) has ordered singer Geoffrey Tumaini popularly known as Dudu Baya to appear before them.
BASATA has asked Dudu Baya to present himself to their offices after he used vulgar words in his Sunday viral videos.
In a letter shared on their social media platforms on Monday, BASATA said Dudu Baya should present himself to their offices on Tuesday for further information.
"The board is not impressed with vulgar utterances through videos shared on social media platforms by Dudu Baya, using vulgar languages. (Baraza limesikitishwa na kauli zisizokua na maadili wala staha kupitia video fupi zilizorushwa kwenye mitandao za kijamii zikimuonyesha msanii Dudu Baya akitoa lugha zisizo za maadili.)," read part of BASATA's letter posted on Instagram.
Dudu Baya on Sunday took to Instagram and shared several videos where he attacked a number of people, starting from unnamed leaders to other Bongo artists and even Diamond Platnumz's owned Wasafi media.
However, in some of the videos, which were more vulgar, Dudu Baya claimed that for Tanzanian artists to make it in their music career, they must engage themselves in illegal sexual activates.
