There is currently high tension in Bomariba ward, Bonchari Sub County in Kisii County after angry locals of Boroko Sub Location planted bananas at the impassable road accusing area lazy MCA Protus Moindi Aramba of failing to upgrade the road.
Locals claimed the MCA has been missing from the ward since he was declared a winner during the last year's polls.
"Aramba is a disgrace to us. We voted for him thinking he will perform but, he has ventured into alcohol consumption and chasing women abandoning his duties. Let him not step foot here, we will stone him to death," said Peter Kebati, a local.

Agnes Nyanchera accused the ward rep of giving empty promising which he couldn't fulfil.
"We have started plans to kick him out of office before 2022. He can't continue being in office without doing any tangible development," she noted.

Angeline Moraa regretted electing lazy Moindi.
"Moindi dished out money until he retained his seat. It is a lesson we must learn ahead of 2022 not to elect someone because of his or her party," said Moraa.
Aramba was first elected in 2013 on an ODM party ticket and was successfully re-elected during the last year's polls.
He served as Kisii County Assembly Majority leader between 2013-2017.
