Residents of Bogusero Raganga are in a shocker after a woman borrowed a loan of Sh. 21,000 and went missing, giving her husband sleepless nights looking for her.
The woman who was identified as Kemuma Nyakeri, allegedly borrowed money from a money lending group discreetly without the consent of the husband.
The drama begun when the group members came to make a follow up for the money they lent her and found the husband who claimed he was not privy to the amount borrowed.
The woman's husband, only identified as Nyakeri, who is looking for his wife, was interviewed by a local FM station on Saturday, where he said that after the loaners came for their money, the woman went missing.
"The loaners came to my homestead saying it was a follow up they made, for the money they taken by my wife. They said that she took Ksh. 21,000 and she has not cleared the repayment," Nyakeri said.
"After doing some calculations, my wife paid them the money she had, and promised to to pay the rest later. What surprises me, I had bought a sealed drug for my cattle but I got empty unsealed bottle. Since then, she has gone missing. We have searched everywhere including maize plantations but she is nowhere" he added.
