Manchester United has had a nightmarish start to the new season, going from bad to worse after yet another defeat, this time at home, to Tottenham Hotspurs.
This was Man United's worst start to the season in 26 years, and the atmosphere around Old Trafford is uneasy, to say the least.
Jose Mourinho has complained that his team had not reinforced enough for his liking after a second place finish in 2017-18 which saw them finish 19 points behind their local rivals Manchester City.
However, Mourinho will have to do more if he hopes to gain the support and faith of his loyal fans at Manchester, who saw his coming three years ago as another successful era.
