In what seems to be glowing relationship between ODM leader Raila Odinga and Elgeyo-Marakwet Governor Alex Tolgos, the two leaders met yet again on Saturday.
Previously, Governor Tolgos would easily skip and event organised by ODM leader and his team, but he has since changed tactic, embracing Mr Odinga's presence often in the region.
Early this month, Tolgos was among North Rift leaders who ushered Mr Odinga in when he attended the retirement of Ruth Kiptoo, the mother-in-law to Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny.
And days later, Tolgos, who is neither in Tanga Tanga nor Kieleweke, visited Mr Odinga at Capitol Hill offices, with the second term county boss aiming life after 2022 polls.
On Saturday, Mr Tolgos ushered Mr Odinga in during the burial of one of ODM key leaders from North Rift region who passed on barely a week ago.
"PL @RailaOdinga today led the Party brigade and other mourners in paying last respects to the Late Johnstone Kasenge in Elgeyo/Marakwet County. The late Kasenge was the Chairman of the party in the County. Local Governor Alex Tolgos was also present among other leaders," ODM party tweeted.
The two leaders asked politicians to desist from politicising the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal, which saw Henry Rotich kicked out as Treasury CS last week.
Early this year, Governor Tolgos accused Tanga Tanga team of allegedly misleading DP William Ruto, adding that he was not interested with the team.
“I am neither in Tanga Tanga nor Kieleweke teams but I do not like the way members of the Tanga Tanga team are doing their things. It should be known that I will never be part of that team. I like the way Gideon Moi is doing his business. He does not insult anyone and will respect you for who you are. He is just like me,” the governor told the Nation.
“If the DP is relying on Tanga Tanga to deliver him the presidency in 2022 I am sorry to say it might be difficult for that to happen. Those in that team are always insulting everyone, from Raila to Gideon and anyone else including me,” he added.
