Every job seeker always leaves the interview room tensed and not knowing whether he/she will get the opportunity or not.
With the current rate high of unemployment in the country, the number of job seekers who turn up in an interview is far much higher than the number of available job vacancies.
This lowers the probability of securing the job to everyone attending the interview.
Walking out of the interview room is not the end and here are three important things you should do after the interview which can even increase your chances of getting employed;
Say the word ‘thank you’
You can do this by writing an official letter to the company or visiting the company to thank them for giving you an opportunity. Making a visit can also serve as a follow-up as you can inquire about how the selection process is going on. By doing this, you may appear serious and the company can easily give you the job.
Note your lessons
An interview gives you an opportunity to learn a lot. Note any important information you learnt in the interview since you may need the information in the future.
Try your luck elsewhere
Luck may not be on your side and you may end up no getting the job. You should however not lose hope but seek for other job vacancies and apply them. The higher the number of applications you make the higher the chances of finding yourself a job.
