As the DPP marks a year since he was appointed into office, Miguna feels he is yet to do much for this nation.

The self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) leader said that Haji should ensure that Sh.15 trillion stashed in foreign accounts is returned with immediate effect.

He noted that the DPP has not handled and won any serious scandal involving the loss of huge amounts of money since he took over office following his appointment by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Miguna, who has been very vocal on matters of national interest, has rated the performance of the DPP below par.

He also asked Haji to obey orders issued by the court as far as prosecution of criminals is concerned if he wants to leave behind a legacy.

“Let @ODPP_KE Noordin Haji charge and SUCCESSFULLY prosecute those who stole and stashed Shs. 15 Trillion shillings of our money abroad. Let him obey all court orders and convict those who perpetrated the Goldenberg, Anglo Leasing and other mega scams for us to take him seriously” he said through his Twitter handle.

The DPP has been hitting headlines spearheading the prosecution of various Kenyans in a number of cases. He has, however, not managed to deal with any big fish in the fight to end graft and other crimes since he took over the office.
