University of Eldoret (UOE) students have engaged in a heated debate on the kind of hairstyle ladies should have.
While reacting to a post by Samuel Chahira, a UOE student that asked the university ladies to embrace short hair, the students had different opinions with most ladies disagreeing with men.
One Margie Wariara disagreed with Chahira saying that, “Let us be young man..kila mtu na style yake plus hatuwezi fanana sisi wote (Everyone with her style. We cannot look the same). Integrity is not how someone looks, its inbuilt kama battery ya oppo.”
Another lady, Beryl Akoth, also did not conquer with the post and she replied to Samuel that, “That is your taste, go for ladies with short hair please.”
It did not stop there as Linda Keri came in defending herself that she owes no man sprayed wave. “I owe no one sprayed weave, shughulika na hali yako brathe (Mind your business brother),” said Linda.
Elizabeth Syokau also came out to defend her looks and choice of hairstyle. She noted that “My hairstyle my choice.”
However, then came a lady by the name Kenyan Luhyabae who did not side with the ladies and acknowledged that the lady in short hair is simple and pretty.
On the other hand, the male students were in unison and they stood for short hair. They were being led by Samuel Chahira who strongly dislike ladies putting on weaves for a century.
Then came in Omondi David Otieno who made it simple, clear and straight to the point that short hair is the dignity of simplicity.
Sharif Tansam Flesy and Emmanuel Kim could not get enough of her and demanded more photos of the short-haired lady.
