Kenyan netizens have taken to social media to express their reactions over Brian Bera’s actions of trying to access the State House while armed with a knife.
Bera who was a fifth-year Mechanical engineering student at Jomo Kenyatta University for Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) had prior to the attack claimed through a Facebook post that God had sent him (https://bit.ly/2wOo5kk) to attack President Uhuru Kenyatta at the State House.
Kenyans have been divided with some describing the young man as courageous and revolutionary while others brushing off his actions as foolish.
A section of the netizens believed Brian Bera’s actions reflect that of the common citizen, the only difference being that Brian Bera was courageous enough to voice out his beliefs.
The other section of the netizens which believed Brian Bera’s action was nothing but a foolish move claimed that the university student should have known that he would eventually land in the hands of the authority.
Some even went ahead to suggest that the student’s decision may have been clouded as a result of using drugs.

Brian Bera is currently receiving treatment after sustaining injuries from gunshots. Unauthorized entry into the State House is illegal and Punishable by the law.
