Political analyst David Osiany has hailed singer King Kaka for pointing out social, economic and political evils in this nation through his song Wajinga Nyinyi. Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV on Monday, Osiany said that the singer has used his skills to highlight the bad things happening in this nation.Former Rongo parliamentary candidate opined that the song has given Kenyans an opportunity to reflect on the leadership and other aspects of the government. He also said that time has come for leaders to rethink their political lives. He alluded that the mistakes leaders are making are intolerable.“I think ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’ pokes our collective conscience as a country, it is a call for introspection, it is a call for reflection. It calls both the leaders and the citizens to stop for a moment and think," he said.Speaking on the same platform, Professor Herman Manyora said that the song is on point. He also noted that the content of the song shows that leaders and the general public have made some bad things appear normal, which should never be the case.“We have made bad things become normal in this country, we have lowered our standards so much. We have accepted that anything passes for Kenyans,” he said.
