Baringo senator Gideon Moi has renewed his rivalry with Deputy President William Ruto's allies.
This time, Moi has called on Ruto's allies to avoid meddling in his political path by boxing him in regards to the 2022 succession politics.
Speaking over the weekend, Moi said that he is yet to declare an interest in the seat yet Ruto allies are on his case.
He noted that claims of undermining the DP were far-fetched.
"Some people have kept on blaming me for divisions among leaders in the region but I don't know why because they know I have not said anything concerning 2022," he said.
He was speaking during a funds drive in aid of Turesia AIC church in Elgeyo Marakwet.
Gideon further accused his critics of spending most of their time and resources attacking him.
He said those targeting him were wasting their time and should mind their own business.
The event was attended by Keiyo South MP Daniel Ronoh, Tiaty MP William Kamket, Moiben MP Silas Tiren, Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut and ODM county chairman Micah Kigen.
