The court ruled that Nyoro has no mandate to reshuffle county executive committee members in a move he argues is meant to improve service delivery.

While delivering the ruling on the matter, Justice Onesmus Makau said that the Deputy has no moral authority to interfere with the composition of the cabinet left behind by the governor.

The ruling came after Kiambu resident Ms Marion Njoroge, move to court in a bid to stop the governor from sacking some of the CECs.

She told the court that Nyoro had gone ahead to publish the names of the reshuffled bosses before the ruling.

Nyoro had swapped CECs of Finance with that of Trade.  Njoroge said that Nyoro has no moral authority to make any changes in embattled Governor Ferdinard Waititu pending the hearing of the case against him.

She has since asked the court to quash the decision with immediate effect for the sake of the county government.

She lamented that Nyoro has overstepped his mandate following his appointment to serve in the office. Bernard Otieno has also filed an application at the High Court over the matter.
