Former Olympic champion Asbel Kiprop's wife Sammary Cherotich has announced her engagement on Facebook.
Cherotich seems to have moved on from her troubled marriage to Azbel Kiprop.
She stated that she is now engaged to Kelvin Kip Busienei, an indicator there were no chances of reconciliation with Kiprop.
Their marital problems started last year after a video of Kiprop with a married woman identified as Nancy Rotich in his car went viral on social media.
The wife packed and walked out of their matrimonial home never to return back despite the two having been married for six years.
The 3-time world champion accused the woman of costing him his family and career life.
He went ahead to apologies to his wife stating that he made a mistake and wanted her back.
Kiprop claimed that he recorded the video as a way of apologizing for cheating on his wife for two years.
In April last year the athlete was banned for four years after he tested positive for doping.
