Led by Western Kenya parliamentary group chairman John Bunyasi, the politicians claimed Odinga has decided to use the duo to frustrate those opposed to his ideologies.

The leaders said they are not going to allow an individual to derail the development agenda of elected leaders from the region.

They poked holes on a Luhya leaders meeting set for January 18, to discuss the Building Bridges Inititative, terming it an 'ODM affair'.

The Bunyasi-led group noted that they will not attend the meeting.

“They want to use the meeting on January 18 in Kakamega to impose leaders on us, endorse the BBI report that has not been completed and push the ODM agenda in Western. Going forward, we will treat the proposed meeting as an ODM affair,” Bunyasi said on Wednesday.

“We know well that Atwoli and Oparanya are serving external masters. We have also seen Atwoli host Raila at his home and then start giving out instructions,” he added.

Atwoli and Oparanya have been rooting for unity among Luhya leaders.

The duo are behind next week's meeting scheduled to take place in Kakamega.
