Bahati MP Onesmus Kimani Ngunjiri has called on ODM leadership to allegedly stop using the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report to pursue its political agenda ahead of the 2022.
Speaking in his constituency on Monday, Ngunjiri said there are clear indicators that BBI report is no longer about the recommendations.
The MP argues that several rallies planned to drum support for BBI report are nothing more than an avenue for misuse of public resources.
“ODM are now doing politics with BBI and we are calling on the President to wake up and save Kenyans” said Ngunjiri.
The first consultative meeting was held in Kisii last week to discuss the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report.
The meeting has continued to elicit mixed reactions from political leaders across the country, setting the stage for a tough political duel ahead of the 2022 polls.
The second meeting will be held in Western on January 18 amid divisions among leaders from the region.
The BBI report has seen DP Ruto, Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula read from the same script as they question the source of funding and importance of the meetings at the county level.
