ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna believes that Tangatanga brigade could yet again drop intentions to attend Mombasa rally.
According to Sifuna, the team usually dwells on controversies, adding that it could pull yet another excuse before the Saturday's rally in Mombasa.
This comes a day after Kipchumba Murkomen said the Tangatanga brigade will be joining the BBI campaigns.
"Don't fall for it @DonaldBKipkorir. It's bait... By Friday you will hear statements like "we want to be assured of our safety before we come to Mombasa"..... Wapende wasipende wataingia ndani ya BBI. Hatuachi mtu nyuma!" he said
On Tuesday, Murkomen announced plans to attend the upcoming Mombasa rally which will be graced by ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Previously, the Tangatanga brigade had boycotted BBI rallies, accusing organisers of using taxpayers money.
Also, lawyer Donald Kipkorir has termed Murkomen's pronouncements as juvenile, adding that it was a poor strategy.
"Have highest respect for my Senator & I flew to Cheptongei by Chopper from Nairobi twice to vote him & hardly call him out... His “invitation” for attendance in Msa BBI Rally is puerile & Primary Schoolyard taunting .. My Senator isn’t part of Msa BBI Planning Committee nor Host," he said.
Murkomen also announced plans to hold parallel complimentary rallies around the country in support of the Building Bridges Initiative report, arguing that the program will be released in coming days.
