Ever since President Uhuru Kenyatta launched fight against graft, his deputies allies have been uncomfortable with some claiming it is witch-hunt from certain elements in Presidency.

"The war in graft must be genuine. You can't tell us of lifestyle audit without a law to regulate it. Certain elements in Presidency are using this against Ruto," said Kipchumba Murkomen.

Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi had said: "If you want lifestyle audit, start with Jomo Kenyatta. That's how it it can be genuine."

And on Thursday,  Ruto openly accused President Uhuru albeit indirectly adding that 'even sons of the poor have a God'.

The DP was irked by the latest opinion polls which ranked him the most corrupt Kenyan and believes that it was sponsored by 'competitors'.

“Those running injili ya shetani (the devil's gospel) that unless your father was a minister, a vice president or a president, however hard you work, must remain poor – and if not a pauper, you must be corrupt and have stolen – they should know that those without godfathers, we have God the Father,” Ruto said.

While President Uhuru's father Jomo Kenyatta was Founding President, his other perceived competitor Raila Odinga's dad was Vice President.

The DP is silently waging a war against dynasties of Kenyatta's, Odinga's and Moi's if his latest tweet is anything to go by.

In June at a function in South Mugirango which was also attended by Ruto, his campaigner Sylvanus Osoro accused dynasties of ganging against the DP.

"Even the son of a peasant has a space. The next election with be between dynasties and ordinary people," he said.

March 9th handshake between Odinga and Uhuru seems to have complicated Ruto's matrix thus his latest squabbles within Jubilee.

So irked is the DP that his allies led by Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei have threatened to boycott Jubilee retreat.

Lately, Ruto's ally led by Sports minister Rashid Achesa have even accused Raila and Uhuru of plotting their ouster from cabinet.
