The man identified as Dominic Kamau is a security guard with Lavington Security and a resident of Kibera.

According to police reports, the main suspect in the murder, Joe Irungu, used the ID card of Kamau to gain access to Monica’s apartment.

Detectives believe that Kamau might have been involved in the plotting of Monica’s death as his ID card was presented by Irungu to guards at the compound of Monica’s apartment.

According to Kenyans.co.ke, police reports reveal that Kamau was off-duty from September 17, two days before Monica was killed and detectives are looking for him for questioning.

Irungu was arrested in connection with the murder of Monica after her neighbor positively identified him as the last person who was seen at her house at Luciane Apartments in Kilimani.

Findings by detectives on the ongoing investigations have revealed that Irungu was in the house on the material date of the murder of businesswoman, Monica.

DNA tests on semen found on Monica and samples collected from under her nails placed Irungu at the scene of the crime.

Monica’s body was found dead on September 19 in a bathtub in her Nairobi apartment with her throat slit.
