The commentator says that the same goes to politicians rallying Kenyans behind the proposed constitutional changes, who have been telling them that it is the solution to their problems.

He has bashed politicians who attended the BBI forum in Mombasa on Saturday, terming them the source of the national problems they are claiming to be helping Kenyans to solve.

"The same politicians who were seated at Mama Ngina Drive in Mombasa are the problem in Kenya. You cannot create a problem and purport to solve it," he said in an interview on KTN News on Sunday.

He also suggested that the entire BBI debate is unnecessary with regards to solving some of the issues that were raised at the forum, for instance the issue about land injustices.

According to the commentator, had the politicians been serious about their bid, then lawmakers like Senators and Members of County Assembly (MCAs) would have already come up with a law to address the issue.

Similarly, he pointed out that the interests of the common Coast citizens might not have been fully addressed, given that they were not allowed to personally table their demands.

"We were told that delegates were selected around the Coast but nobody knows how they were selected. So do they represent the face of the Coast province or therewith were ODM delegates?," he posed.

The push us being led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga. It had also attracted the attention of Deputy President William Ruto's camp, which was earlier opposed.
