KNUT is now accusing TSC of attempting to scuttle its plans.

The union has claimed that the move by commission to seek legal redress aims at scuttling its operations.

The Wilson Sossion led union wants teachers to benefit from promotions, transfers, and training without any form of favour. The teachers opine that the commission wants to use court orders to frustrate them in different ways including blocking them from job promotions among other benefits.

Through its lawyers, Hillary Sigei and John Mbaluto, KNUT has said that the court decisions have affected the teacher’s career progression.

KNUT also alleges that it is evident TSC is no longer ready to honour its word as far running of different affairs is concerned.

“It is trite law that a party seeking for stay of execution of a judgment must establish that substantial loss is due to it unless the stay is granted, the applicant herein has failed to show any possible loss or any loss at all that would render the intended appeal (if any) nugatory,” part of KNUT's reply read,

On July 13, the Labour ordered teachers to revert to the old frameworks of management. TSC boss Nancy Macharia argues that the court orders have made it impossible to implement the Collective Bargain Agreement (CBA).
