The two leaders reconciled in 2018 March contrary to the expectations of their close allies, a move that has caused rifts within the Jubilee party.

Since then, Uhuru and Raila have been attending functions jointly, rallying for implementation of the Building Bridges Initiative report.

Reacting to a decision by Senators to opt for a plenary meeting to discuss impeachment of embattled Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, Kabando noted that Uhuru, Raila unity is unstoppable.

"On Kiambu Governor impeachment procedure, all Senators of Central province heritage - voted against Jubilee (URP) ML Kipchumba Murkomen," he said.

"All 3 SC senators, too. Proposed Committee chair as well. Advise: URP stop bravado, face reality. UhuRao unbeatable. You asked for #BBI Tsunami?" he added.

Senator Kipchumba Murkomen had picked a committee to interrogate the impeachment of Governor Waititu, but the Senators rubbished it on grounds that it was compromised.

A number of senators accused Murkomen of picking a friendly committee that would vindicate the embattled county boss.

During the voting, senators allied to Uhuru and Raila rejected the move, winning by 28 votes to 16 according to Senate transcripts.
