Deputy President William Ruto on Saturday affirmed that Kenya is on the right track.
Speaking at Rurinja Grounds, Njabini Town, Nyandarua County, Ruto said that he is committed to ensuring that President Uhuru Kenyatta to leave behind a legacy before his retirement.
He reiterated that those claiming that he has been frustrating Uhuru against the war against graft.
The second in command said that those claiming that he lacks goodwill in the fight to end the vice are not only dishonest and malicious.
He also said that he is tasked with the supervision of government projects, adding that he will not change his stand any soon in order to please his rivals.
Ruto, who been vocal on matters of church donations, also said that the government projects are going as planned. He also promised to continue with his good before the Jubilee government completes its tenure.
“Kenya is on the right track, we have initiated development projects in all parts of the country,” said the DP, as quoted by Daily Nation.
The second in command also said that the nation will not attain the Big Four Agenda if leaders continue spreading propaganda.
The DP is considered as one of the potential successors of President Kenyatta. He is banking on the support of Kenyatta to rise to power.
