Popular Kenyan radio presenter Kamene Goro has been featured on the cover of September's issue of the True Love magazine.

Taking to her Instagram page on Friday, Kamene Goro revealed some of the details surrounding her appearance on True Love which is among the best selling magazines in East Africa.

Kamene who has been battling a lawsuit after her resignation from NRG radio to join Kiss FM pointed out that God hides blessings in storms as she never imagined she could land such a prestigious opportunity.  

The interview with True Love magazine not only came at a time when she had just undergone a knee surgery but also at a time when she was facing an injunction against going on air.

"When I tell you Mungu hides blessings in storms, in the midst of one of the worst storms of my life, @truelove_ea honoured me with this opportunity I honestly never thought I would get," part of Kamene's post of Instagram read.

She went ahead to appreciate those who were involved in the production of the story citing that they had been patient with her. 

"The only lady who could write my story, right by my hospital bed @andanjewobanda. The most patient photographer, 2 days post-surgery he spent all day trying to get all this together with me on 1 Leg and Crutches Paul Mbugua @rubanipix and Kelvin AsambaAnd @annabelmwenga who styled the entire shoot and helped me remove and wear my devilish Circulation stockings! Makeup: @makeupbychelah and her FAYAAA BODY and great vibes. Not forgetting the genius behind my hair, and was lifting me through every shoot set!," Kamene wrote on Instagram.

Kamene Goro who has nonetheless made a successful comeback on radio at Kiss FM noted in the post that she was shown a lot of love after her surgery; something which she greatly appreciated.
