This is after the BBI taskforce leadership on Friday announced that it will be handing over the report to President Uhuru Kenyatta, which was confirmed by the president on the same day.

The party's  Political Affairs Secretary Opiyo Wandayi now says that Tuesday will be a major day for Kenyans, hinting that it will mark the start of major changes in Kenya.

He told the Star that the Tuesday event will see the nation rewrite its history in a fundamental way.

"Tuesday will definitely mark a turning point in the history of this country in the most fundamental way," the Ugunja Member of Parliament said.

ODM leader Raila Odinga's spokesman Dennis Onyango said that the leader, who co-founded the initiative, has been fully involved in preparations for the release.

He said that after the launch, the former Prime Minister will discuss the proposals, though he did not explain if it will be with the president, party members or Kenyans.

"He is waiting for the unveiling of the report on Tuesday, after that there will be a lot to talk about," he said, only a day after Uhuru criticized politicians already rejecting the document.

However, forces allied to Deputy President William Ruto have continued to question the same despite Uhuru's calls to await its opening before picking what to back and what to oppose.
