Choge is said to be eying one of the political seats in the county in 2022 and this has elicited mixed reactions from political pundits and opinion makers from the area.

Recently, allegations emerged that Choge was suspended from Moi University and he is currently on a 1000 days’ suspension. Hivisasa reached out to the former students’ leader and he has responded by the saying that the allegations that he was suspended from the university are just mere propaganda meant to tarnish his name.

“Those are sponsored propaganda and those behind it have started fearing,” Choge replied through a message.

On his part, the current Secretary General for MUSO Moses Tisa has accused Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei of being behind the ongoing war between Isaac Choge and some Facebook bloggers from Nandi county.

“It's very obnoxious for a whole senator to pay bloggers to insult Isaac Choge. Those peddling lies about Choge are honestly stupid. By the way, bwana senator is making the guy popular and if he is not careful, Choge will be the end of him in 2022. Choge must be respected,” Moses Tisa posted on his Facebook account.
